GROW – Women’s Ministry at DCC

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18

Growing together as women as we grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus is our goal for women who call DCC home. Any event, bible study, or activity is a place where growth together and with Jesus can happen. We hope you will join us as we GROW together.

Through the events and activities that take place we will strive to be a community of women who:

  • love and care for one another
  • will be themselves
  • ask questions and share struggles
  • will fall more in love with Christ
  • will reach out to their surrounding community.

It’s a time to connect with other mom’s at DCC – all while your children are being cared for in a fun, loving environment.

Secret Sister
Are you an encourager? Want to be encouraged? Even a little bit sneaky?
Connect with a Secret Sister.  Reach out and encourage one another in prayer, small gifts, cards, etc. from June to November. Sign up today at the Info Centre by May 23 or contact Dee-Dee Neufeld.

Come On – We Dare You! This Sunday morning we dare you to take 5 minutes and meet that new person you’ve noticed, or spend time with someone you haven’t really talked with before. Then take the next step and invite them over for coffee that week! It’s so easy! If each woman at DCC made the effort to connect and begin relationship we are well on our way to being a community of women who love and care for one another. You can do it – we dare you!

Transitional Support – If you are a new mom, in the midst of a move, or have an illness in the family, let the DCC office know and you will be on the receiving end of some practical love from our Transitional Support ministry team. Fun Events: Simply put – we like each other, want to be together and to have fun. So watch for planned events like brunch, coffee nights, games nights, hikes, pottery nights – you name it – it can happen. But don’t feel like you have to wait for someone else to take the lead. If you have an urge to do something, anything and feel like it would be a great idea for other women, let us know and we can give you some guidance and get you started!
